The BaitStar XPERT XL has been developed for carp anglers who want maximum capacity, power and modern technology combined in one premium bait boat. With its impressive 75 cm catamaran design, bait capacity of up to 7 kg and a choice of different drive systems, the XPERT XL is ready for serious work.
For control, the XPERT XL uses the familiar BaitStar All-in-One touchscreen system also used on the Xpert. Boat control, GNSS/GPS autopilot and sonar are combined in one clear colour display.

🟠 Large 75 cm Catamaran Design
Measuring approximately 75 × 38 × 35 cm, the XPERT XL is one of the largest models in the BaitStar range.
Its wide catamaran design provides excellent space and stability and has been developed for large waters and demanding conditions.
🟠 Up to 7 kg Bait Capacity
With a maximum bait capacity of approximately 7 kg, the XPERT XL allows you to transport large quantities of bait efficiently to your chosen spot.
Ideal for long sessions, large waters and situations where maximum capacity is required.
🟠 12V or Powerful 24V Drive System
The XPERT XL will be available with different motor configurations.
12V version
- Dual 12V brushed motors

🟠 BaitStar All-in-One Touchscreen Control
The XPERT XL features the same proven All-in-One touchscreen control system as the BaitStar Xpert.
This brings the main bait boat, navigation and sonar functions together in one controller. No separate remote control and sonar screen – everything is integrated into one complete system.

🟠 GNSS Autopilot
The integrated GNSS Autopilot allows fishing spots to be saved and automatically revisited.
Select a saved position and the XPERT XL can navigate back to it automatically, helping you place your rigs and bait accurately on the same spot time after time.
Depending on the final configuration, centimetre-level positioning accuracy will be possible.
🟠 Automatic Return Home
Safety is essential. The XPERT XL features an Automatic Return Home function, allowing the boat to automatically navigate back to its saved HOME position under preset conditions.
🟠 CHIRP Sonar
The new XPERT XL is prepared for an integrated CHIRP sonar system, with sonar information displayed directly on the All-in-One touchscreen.
CHIRP technology uses a range of frequencies rather than a single fixed frequency, providing detailed information about depth, bottom contours, underwater structures and objects.
🟠 Side Scan & Down Scan – Expected Q1 2027
Side Scan and Down Scan support is also planned for the XPERT XL.
Down Scan provides a detailed sonar image of the area directly beneath the bait boat.
Side Scan allows you to scan a much wider area to the left and right of the boat’s route, making it particularly useful for finding interesting bottom structures and potential hotspots.
Side Scan & Down Scan are expected from Q1 2027.
